In Acts 2:42, we see that the early Church devoted themselves to the apostle's teaching. At Highland Park, it is our main goal is to live out the message of Jesus that we see in scripture. We understand that we cannot have a relationship with Jesus without knowing what the Bible says about Him, and so we have weekly Bible classes that are for all ages to help us in our relationship with Jesus and to deepen our faith. Our Bible classes are filled with deep study of the scripture, but are also presented with practical ways to help you in your daily living as a Christian. In Acts 2:44, it says "that all who believed were together." At Highland Park, it is our mission to give everyone the opportunity to make Jesus the King of their life through belief and obedience to Him. In Acts 2:45 it says, "they were selling their possessions and belongings, and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need." The early Church understood the importance of taking care of each other. We want to be a congregation that takes care of the needs of our family at Highland Park, but also that takes care of the needs of our community. In Acts 2:46 we see that the early Church put a level of importance on spending time with one another. It says that they were "day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes." At Highland Park, we love to spend time with each other. We believe that it brings us closer as a family, and it also encourages us in our walk with Jesus. We do this in a variety of ways and we would love for your to join us.
